She wasn't a big fan of the icing...




...or the cake.


but she did enjoy spitting it out.

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day in L.A. with friends. Madeline likes her mama, pointing at anything, and flowers, in that order.

Santa Monica, CA

Madeline got to visit the ocean for the very first time when we went to visit some friends in L.A.




The Pacific can be a bit cold.


She got used to it.




But then she had to deal with all that sand on her feet.

TIGERS!

Madeline got to see a tiger for the first time. No, we weren't in Asia, nor were we at the zoo. We found a tiger sanctuary just north of Tyler, Texas.






I want to touch them.

School Carnival

We went to the Community School Carnival two weekends ago. Madeline got to play with her friend, Olivia and her teacher Linnet.


Then, she found ducks. DUCKS, DUCKS!






The fun ended with a supervised romp in the bounce house.
