Madeline has been trying to walk in fits and starts, but up until today, when Uncle Jeff came by for a visit, she hadn't put those steps together into a series of movements that resembled walking. Tonight, something finally clicked. Just before bed and using blueberries for bait, she finally took a few steps without going straight to her butt. Yeah!

About a month ago, Madeline finally met a real man her age, or half her age. Patterson is the son of our friends Jeremy and Rachel in LA, and the two babies hit it off right away.
